Beyond the music

- Campground Parties: The motto of this year’s decoration competition is “I Love My Country!”. Do you have the best campsite WE Fest? Prove it by posting your photo with # K102WeFest and tagging @coorslight and you can win the ultimate Coors Camping Package!
- The trading post and handicraft market opens early every day for the “shopping hour”.
- The competitive WE Fest Baggo tournament sponsored by Miller Lite.
- If you like to keep it close to the ground, hop on the mechanical bull.
- Still up in the air what to do? Take a helicopter ride!
Day tickets for the WE Fest start at $ 99; Ticket and camping packages are available at wefest.com.
The sheriff’s deputies will be on site throughout the festival
The Becker County Sheriff’s Office will set up a command post on the WE Fest site near East Gate, off County Road 22, to resolve any public safety issues that may arise during the festival.
Deputies will work for event security and will be available around the clock from Wednesday afternoon to Sunday.
“Number one, read and follow the directions given to you (WE Fest organizer),” said Becker County Sheriff Todd Glander. “Plan ahead because there will always be some waiting time once (concert-goers) get here, and I ask everyone to be safe, no matter what they do, just be safe.”
Glander said his deputies will actively patrol the concert, campsites and nearby streets during the concert weekend.
