Tom and Jerry at the Family Fun and Flix Outdoor Movie Series event in Union County on August 10th – County of Union, New Jersey

Free outdoor movies will be shown on a seated walk-in basis in Union County’s parks this summer. no advance notice required.

Union County, NJ – The Union County Board of Commissioners invites all residents to join us in Union County’s “Family Fun and Flix” series for the next outdoor movie night. The series continues with Tom and Jerry on August 10th at 7.30pm in the Warinanco Park in Roselle.

“Tom and Jerry” is a live action / computer animation film based on the nostalgic characters introduced to the world in the 1990s. Released earlier this year, the film follows a mouse, Jerry, and his adventures in a fancy New York City hotel when a cat, Tom, tries to exterminate him before his presence threatens the hotel.

“Free summer outdoor movies are a popular family tradition in Union County and we are very proud to continue the series this year,” said Commissioner Chairman Alexander Mirabella.

Early arrival is recommended as there will be a family-friendly dance party from 7:30 p.m. before the movie

The film starts at dusk. Be sure to accompany us with a blanket or a beach chair to secure a place on the lawn.

An ice cream truck will be on site for attendees who want to purchase a snack.

Films are shown depending on the weather. In bad weather, the rainy date for each event is the following Wednesday evening.

The remaining dates for the Family Fun & Flix film program 2021:

Black Panther: August 17th at the Warinanco Park in Roselle

Aladdin – Live Action: August 24th at Conant Park in Hillside
