The final free summer concerts of 2022 in the park are this week, upcoming performances are Sunday, August 21 at City Park and Tuesday, August 23 and Thursday, August 25 at Hazel Miller Plaza.
The 2022 Summer Concerts at City Park (600 Third Ave. S.) conclude on Sunday, August 21 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. with a performance by the Jazz Punishments Big Band, conducted by Edmonds’ own Jake Bergevin. The band consists of young musicians from the Northwest jazz scene who carry on the torch of the legacy of the big band jazz tradition.
On Tuesday, August 23 from 4:30pm to 6:00pm, Hazel Miller Park (5th Ave S & Maple S) will host a performance by the ADEFUA African Arts Cultural Center whose mission is to improve the West African arts , to preserve and preserve and culture through programs that promote the arts education and economic development of their community. And the final summer concert of 2022 returns to Hazel Miller Park on Thursday, August 25 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. with Wren the Band, the soul and folk duo from Portland Oregon.
