Ranveer Singh hugs Dharmendra at Rocky Aur Rani’s party, Alia attends virtually

On Monday, actor Dharmendra shared a video from the wrap party of his upcoming movie Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. In the video, Ranveer is captured hugging Dharmendra tightly. In another video shared by a fan account, Alia can be seen on a video call. Sharing the video, he wrote, “Dosto, Pyaari iss Production ke saath beete pyaaree Lamheen ye bahut yaad aayenge (friends the beautiful moments I spent with this beautiful production. I will cherish these moments)” Karan Johar can be heard saying, “Thank you for your blessings. We love you Dharam and we cannot thank you enough for being a part of your cinema.” Dharam then replies, “I’m very happy to be a part of it. Love you all”



Ranveer also shared a video from the wrap party on Instagram. He captioned it: “Many days – hearty laughter, tears, mischief, love, blood and sweat. Somewhere between action and editing, this Kahani has found a family in the hearts of everyone on set. It’s a talkie follow-up #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani with just one song left. See you on the big screen. Coming soon in 2023.”



The video shared by Ranveer shows him, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi and the film crew. Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim Ali Khan, who assisted Karan with the project, can also be seen laughing in the video. Ranveer says, “I’ve always wanted to be in Karan Johar’s film. I’ve always wanted to do a Dharma film. I didn’t know that my first Dharma film would be directed by the man, the boss himself.” The video also shows small scenes of the crew hugging, individual cakes and decorations.

Previously, Dharmendra shared a photo from the last day of shooting on Instagram. His son Bobby Deol and grandson Aryaman also visited him on the last day of shooting. Bobby shared pictures on Instagram.



Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani marks Karan Johar’s return as director after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). The film stars Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Shabana Azmi, Dharmendra and Jaya Bachchan. Release is scheduled for February 10, 2023.
