Madonna’s Star-studded Release Party Performances Are the Fun We Need Today / Queerty

Madonnas Finally Enough Love: 50 Number One Release show last night in NYC was a party for the ages.

The singer’s new 16-track remix compilation album is finally out today (with a stunning 50-track version soon to be on the way), and she’s brought out an obnoxious array of queer artists to celebrate the release start – and the NYC Pride weekend – the absolutely right way.

Madge sure got us all in the mood Rupaul’s Drag Race Alum performances, a sassy surprise collaboration, and the dancefloor queen herself.

A few stunning queens came out to lend their talent to this celebration, and we’re all a little bit better for it:

Drag Race Season 8 winner Bob the Drag Queen kept the crowd warm with her signature wit.

Meanwhile, Season 6 contestant Laganja Estranja stepped in to perform in a way only one of the best lip syncs in the show’s history could.

Season 7 winner Violet Chachki gagged the audience with her flying skills.

Violet also lip-synced to “B*tch, I’m Madonna” – before being stormed by Bob for Nicki-Verse.

Then came a surprise guest appearance with the collab we didn’t know we wanted and desperately needed:

Aspiring female rapper Saucy Santana stopped by for a performance of “Material Girl” – by both Madonna and Santana. The two disparate “Material Girl” singles have been mixed together in a remix that we can’t wait to hear hit streams on.

Santana also featured in his new song “Booty” alongside super talented dancers (referred to here as Sasha Mallory and Sohey Sugihara from Legendary Star Dashaun Wesley’s Insta Story).

Finally, the woman of the night, the Madame X, the confessor of the dance floor, is Madonna:

Fans got a video clip megamix showing just a fraction of their long career.

This video of her iconic talent needs no explanation:

Madonna shared a sweet one-on-one moment as she banda danced with her son David.

And the entire cast ended the show, stars and all, with one final powerful number.
