Jared Leto, Julia Fox, more celebs hit Harper’s Bazaar

NEW YORK – Is this who I think he is?

The question arises because yes, it is actually Jared Leto who takes pictures with everyone who comes to him. It happens again as Alicia Silverstone laughs and snaps with designer Christian Siriano; when “Euphoria” star Angus Cloud is deep in conversation at the upstairs bar; and as actress and viral vixen Julia Fox squeezes through the crowd in a plastic wrap dress.

Celebs flocked to Harper’s Bazaar’s annual Icons party on Friday night, which this year celebrates the 150th anniversary of Bloomingdale’s and was held in the location of the famous department store in uptown Manhattan.

The celebrations concluded the first official day of New York Fashion Week, which featured runway shows and presentations from Fendi, Kate Spade, Proenza Schouler and Fe Noel.

An endless stream of big names were sighted on the night, from Hollywood A-listers and social media stars to NBA players, designers and musicians: Drew Barrymore, Heidi Klum and daughter Leni, Jay Ellis, Dove Cameron, Ilana Glazer, Shay Mitchell, Evan Mock, Jordan Clarkson, Kyle Kuzma, Emily Ratajkowski, Ziwe, Sergio Hudson, Tommy Hilfiger, PJ Tucker, Lana Condor, Lauren Jauregui and many more.

Across the street from the famous storefront, onlookers lined Lexington Avenue for a glimpse of the aforementioned stars. Once through the threshold and away from the screaming fans and bright red carpet lights, partygoers were escorted through the store and up an escalator into a neon-lit space where mannequins and shelving were replaced with arcade games, bars and a stage set .

DJ Drama spun top 100 hits before making way for Jack Harlow to take the stage in front of a sardine-filled house. The charismatic young rapper performed cut versions of some of his biggest hits and features, including “What’s Poppin,” his verse about Lil Nas X’s “Industry Baby,” “Best Friends,” and his summer hit “First Class” (in the crowd). , TikTok star Tinx yells along to one of the song’s NSFW lyrics).

Plenty of alcohol flowed while the staff passed around sliders, fries, mini lobster rolls, and ice cream throughout the night. In true New York fashion, there was a newsstand stocked with copies of every cover from the Icons issue of Harper’s Bazaar, as well as goodies like candy and chips. Russ and Daughters cookies and a pizza truck awaited attendees as they exited the event at the end of the night.

Celebs mingled with hundreds (yes, hundreds) of guests including New York’s elite, fashion editors and more throughout the night in the old department store’s two-story facility.

June Ambrose strolled into the party and posed in a lime green dress for an iPhone camera that recorded her performance. Fox made his way through the crowd before Harlow’s entrance, munching on a snack. Social media stars Rickey Thompson and Denzel Dion have been spotted heading to the escalator.

But perhaps the question that defined the night’s controlled chaos was when Harlow asked onstage, “Why are the bathrooms so crowded?” Only in a room full of icons.
