HyperX Signs Dignitas Player EMUHLEET As Its Newest Ambassador
LOS ANGELES, April 15, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — HyperX, the gaming division of HP, Inc., today announced expanded sponsorship and relationship with New Meta Entertainment, Inc (NME), the gaming and entertainment organization that also includes the esports vertical Dignitas and new women in gaming media platform Raidiant. Working together since 2013, HyperX supports Dignitas Esports players and content creators as an official peripheral partner and will continue in that role under the expanded agreement. Expanding on the company’s initiatives to empower female gamers, HyperX also becomes Raidiant’s official peripheral partner, with a notable focus on desktop microphones that support Raidiant’s content creation enablement.
HyperX also signed Dignitas pro Emmalee Garrido, known as “EMUHLEET”, as the newest HyperX hero. EMUHLEET joins a strong lineup of global sports ambassadors and eSports influencers. As the newest member of the HyperX family, EMUHLEET joins the HyperX Heroes community and will participate in various marketing programs and activities in addition to being treated with HyperX Heroes. As a member of the Raidiant community, she will work with HyperX to inspire, educate, and spotlight female gamers to advocate for a stronger, female-inspired community.
One of the pillars of HyperX and Dignitas activity is the popular HyperX Voice Comms content series, which will resume production for 2022. The series pulls back the curtain to allow fans to experience the Dignitas team’s in-game communications at the front seats of competitive gaming. Featuring pop culture and gaming memes with a focus on the personalities of Dignitas competition teams and influential content creators, HyperX and Dignitas will also collaborate to continue their unique and whimsical promotional videos to showcase HyperX’s featured product lines. With content creators in Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Germany, Jordan, the Netherlands, Swedenand the Great BritainDignitas will highlight its diverse talent presence through HyperX-focused activations and transfers.
Dignitas and HyperX demonstrate the connection between quality peripherals and gaming performance and will continue to provide written guides on the Dignitas.gg website. Since 2003, the Dignitas website has long been a destination for gamers to improve their gameplay, generating hundreds of thousands of views per month. These articles serve as a one-stop shop for fans to find out which HyperX products their favorite players and creators are using for competitive play and streaming.
Launched in late 2021 as NME’s women-in-gaming and esports platform, Raidiant will partner with HyperX and Dignitas to collaborate on a skateboard crossover event featuring all three brands at an on-site activation. The activation includes a women’s Skate Around and Play Around, as well as competition opportunities, Instagram moments and meet-and-greets to connect with the large women’s skate and gaming community in the Los Angeles Area.
