Garth Brooks announces second date for 2022 Nissan Stadium return

The overwhelming interest in Garth Brooks’ postponed, rainy 2021 tour date has prompted a different date. On Monday, Brooks announced a second performance of 2022 at Music City’s Nissan Stadium on April 15, 2022. Tickets for the Country Music Hall of Famer show will be available on Friday, April 1st at 10:00am CT.

This follows Brooks’ February 23, 2022 announcement that he would be returning to the venue on April 16, 2022 after his July 31, 2021 appointment in Nashville was rained out. Nissan Stadium officials attempted to reschedule the concert to Sunday, August 1, 2021. However, this did not happen.

These will be Garth’s final stops on the Nashville stadium tour and the only stadium tour in Tennessee and Kentucky. There is a limit of eight tickets per purchase and costs $94.95 all inclusive.

There are only three ways to purchase tickets: through Ticketmaster online, through the Garth Brooks helpline at Ticketmaster, 1-877-654-2784, or through the Ticketmaster app on your mobile phone.

Garth Brooks performs for his fans December 16, 2010 at the packed Bridgestone Arena.

“I heard you. For the people who came and got rained on [2021’s] show in Nashville – and had great seats – and when the tickets went on sale [we] postponed the show [you ended up with] maybe not so great places, get ready,” Brooks explained via Twitter. “There is a new opening night. I owe you that. It’s going to be great.”

The truncated July show began under cloudy skies with Chris Young, Emmylou Harris and Brooks’ wife Trisha Yearwood. Concert-goers protected in the stadium halls. Ninety minutes later, the show was canceled immediately.
