Emmerdale star Charley Webb reunites with co-stars in party snaps

Emmerdale star Charley Webb has fueled rumors of a return after reuniting with her on-screen dad.

Jeff plays Debbie’s father Cain Dingle on the ITV soap opera.

He attended a party thrown by Charley and husband Matthew Wolfenden at their Yorkshire home.

Other Emmerdale stars such as Eden Taylor-Draper and Isabel Hodgins also attended.

Last year Charley announced she had left the soap – after Debbie failed to return from Scotland.

After reports surfaced that she had left the show because husband Matthew Wolfenden was involved in an argument, Charley took to Instagram to clarify the truth.

“This is always my number one question, but I’ve never answered it because I never wanted to make a big deal out of it,” she wrote.

Emmerdale: Will Charley Webb Return as Debbie Dingle?

“I left two years ago to have Ace.

“I returned late last year for 10 weeks to complete a storyline. So, I guess officially it’s been a year.

“I never felt the need to announce it, so we didn’t.”

And while Charley has bid farewell to the soap, fans will no doubt be wondering if she’ll make a surprise comeback for the 50th anniversary in October.

Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson recently unveiled three big returns for the big month.

Aaron Dingle star Danny Miller returns with two more characters.

Elizabeth Estensen will be making a comeback as Diane Blackstock, and she will be joined by actress Amy Walsh as Tracy Metcalfe.

All three returns are described as “temporary”.

But speaking to Metro last week, Jane hinted there could be more.

She said teasingly, “You’ll have to see if anyone else comes back.”
