Efforts to Find the Missing South Idaho Boy Next | Idaho

The Fruitland community continues to work together to find a 5-year-old boy named Michael Vaughan who was reported missing on July 27th.

For the past three months, the Fruitland Police, state law enforcement officers, and the community have been searching tirelessly for Vaughan.

Community members plan to hold a painting day to create more posters and billboards of Vaughan’s picture to spread the word about his disappearance.

“I know most people couldn’t imagine what this family was going through. It was so devastating that it cannot be put into words, ”said event organizer Monique Sprong Petersen. “These billboards are meant to remind you to look for him everywhere.”

According to the latest update from the Fruitland Police Department, dated October 22, the agency, the Idaho State Police, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation will continue to search and investigate any incoming lead. ve obtained by the top lines is 530.

Fruitland PD is in need of public assistance in identifying the 2016-2020 model year driver, the white Honda rider, who left the Southwest 8th Street area at around 6:47 p.m. on the night Vaughan went missing.

Vaughan has blonde hair, blue eyes, is about 3 feet, 7 inches tall, and weighs about 50 pounds. He was last seen in a blue Minecraft t-shirt and navy briefs. He also responds to the nickname “Monkey”.
