Dana White is used to fighting Octo fighters. Monday night it was “Street Fighting Man” for the UFC President.
White was on a seriously high-profile list of dignitaries who attended a private Rolling Stones shindig hosted by the owner of the New England Patriots Robert force.
The party took place for 300 invited guests in a tent, or shall we say tent structure, in the Patriots’ Gillette Stadium.
“It was incredible. It didn’t feel like a tent. It felt like I was in a ballroom at Encore,” wrote White on Tuesday on his return flight to Vegas. “The Krafts are the noblest, most down-to-earth and amazing family . “
Kraft also hosted a private Stones show in 2016.
The Massachusetts governor was on the guest list, according to local Boston Globe coverage. Charlie Baker and his first lady, Lauren; J. Geil’s band Front man, Peter wolf; Moderna co-founder Noubar Afeyan; Owner of the Boston Celtics Wyc Grousbeck and his wife, CEO of Cincoro Tequila Emilia Fazzalari; Fanatics CEO and co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers Michael Rub in; CEO of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute Laurie Glimcher; Providence Capitals Jonathan Nelson; Big Night Entertainments Ed Kane; Celtics co-owner Steve Pagliuca; David Abrams from Abrams Capital; loyalty Abby Johnson; Davios owner Steve DiFillippo; developer Jeremy Sklar and Joe Stand out; of Bank of America Brian Moynihan; Bain Capitals Paul Edgerley; and former Patriots linebacker André Tippett.
The Stones’ 15-song set began with “Let’s Spend the Night Together” and also included classics like “Tumbling Dice”, “Under My Thumb”, “Gimme Shelter”, “Start Me Up”, “Miss You” and ” Jumpin Jack Flash. ” The encore was the two-song burst of “Street Fighting Man” and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction”.
White said he believed he was the only Las Vegas representative at the event. The show preceded the Stones’ US tour, which will take place at Allegiant Stadium on November 6th.
