Coors Light Birds Nest 2022 Survival Guide: Music, Tickets, Parking

EDM superstar Diplo will join country singer Cole Swindell to headline the opening night of this year’s Coors Light Birds Nest concert series on Wednesday, February 9 to welcome golf fans to the WM Phoenix Open marquee.

Thursday night is all country with Sam Hunt and Russell Dickerson.

Four-time Grammy winner Macklemore will headline Friday with special guests Quinn XCII and Ayokay.

And Norwegian-born superstar DJ Kygo wraps up the weekend Saturday with special guests Sam Feldt and Forester.

But why count down the hours to the Bird’s Nest opening when the Phoenix Open plans to get the party started early this year with a concert at the Colosseum.

Thomas Rhett and Old Dominion will take the stage at the legendary 16th hole for the opening concert at the Coliseum on Saturday February 5th, giving fans an earlier start date for the celebrations.

Here’s everything you need to know before you go.

How to get Coors Light Birds Nest concert tickets

Sam Hunt and Kygo are already sold out, although resale tickets are available on, where, as the Birds Nest website notes with a link, “these prices may exceed face value.”

General admission tickets are $75 for Wednesday night with Diplo, $85 for Friday night with Macklemore.

VIP tickets, which include exclusive access to a large VIP viewing area, a full service bar, a catering buffet and a dedicated VIP entrance, are $285.

All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.

All proceeds from Nest and Open are donated to Arizona charities, which have totaled more than $160 million since the Open’s inception.

The Basics of the Bird’s Nest: Hours of Operation, Age Restrictions

The gates to the Birds Nest tent, which seats nearly 8,000, open at 3:30pm daily. Each night’s headliner takes the stage at around 8:30pm. Each night’s direct support act takes the stage at around 6:30pm.

This year there are some changes in the outdoor area of ​​the terrace.

The 48,000 square meter tent will continue to show the live performances, but the area outside the tent will offer an enhanced fan experience with more music festival atmosphere.

The Birds Nest recommends that you arrive at the car park at least half an hour before the performance you are attending.

Entertainment venues close at 10:30pm daily.

The Coors Light Birds Nest is a 21+ venue. A valid ID is required.

The Thunderbirds maintain a zero-tolerance policy with regard to indecent and lascivious conduct or conduct, including, but not limited to, disorderly or violent behavior or vulgar or violent language.

Such behavior may result in your eviction from the premises, including any future entry to the venue.

Where can you park for free

Free public parking is available at Lot H near Mayo Boulevard and Hayden Road (Exit Loop 101 at Hayden Road and head south to the lot).

Free shuttles operate from Wednesday to Saturday from 07:00 to 23:00.

How to find will call

Birds Nest Will Call is located at the Birds Nest Front Gate directly across from the main entrance of the WM Phoenix Open at 82nd Street and Bell Road.

Will Call is open for lunch from Wednesday to Saturday.

Where you can take Uber or Lyft

The ridesharing pickup and drop-off area has been moved to Lot W in Westworld.

Beginning Wednesday, January 29th, the geo-fence around the main entrance will come down at 7pm at night for Lyft and Uber users attending events in the Birds Nest party area on Lot 7 for pickup.

About the concert in the Colosseum

The concert in the Colosseum is completely sold out.

A limited number of suites with all-inclusive food and beverages are still available. Fans interested in purchasing a suite can email [email protected]

The Colosseum concert is a 21+ event.

Doors open at 3pm Old Dominion begins at 5pm with Thomas Rhett taking the stage at around 6:30pm

The concert takes place on a stage specially constructed for this show in the middle of the 16th hole.
