MANILA – Five-piece P-pop group BGYO will treat their fans to a live-streamed party to mark their first anniversary.
The digital event takes place on Saturday, January 29th at 6pm GMT on BGYO’s Facebook page, YouTube channel and kumu – exactly one year after the release of his debut single “The Light”.
The special event will also celebrate the group’s milestones, including their 10 million streams on Spotify and 12 million views on YouTube.
To mark their first anniversary, the group’s fans, collectively known as the ACEs, have continuously shown their support for their idols as BGYO’s song “Kundiman” hit one million streams on Spotify on January 21st.
The song is the fifth track from the group’s debut album, The Light, to earn one million streams.
BGYO also features in this month’s L’Officiel Philippines, featuring K-pop sensations BTS on the cover.
Comprised of Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki and Nate, BGYO quickly established themselves as one of the premier male P-pop groups, breaking records on various streaming platforms including iTunes and Spotify and topping international charts such as Billboard’s Next Big Sound and Pandora Predictions Chart from Next Big Sound and performances for fans at home and abroad.
Along with their sibling group BINI, the breakout group made history in the P-pop world by headlining the first sibling concert, “One Dream: The BINI x BGYO Concert,” which streamed globally last November.
Said concert will be repeated on February 12th and 13th. Tickets are available now at KTX.PH.
