New Delhi:

Bajrangi Bhaijaans Munni, played by Harshali Malhotra, turns 14 on Friday. And the actress made a special Instagram post to mark the day. In the video we see two balloons with the inscription “13”. Soon the “3” is taken out of the frame and replaced with “4” so the balloons read “14”. Now Harshali enters the frame in an elegant black dress and black boots. Of course, she is no longer a little girl, but a charming teenager. She stands in front of the camera with a birthday cake. Her caption read: “Bye 13, lets say hello to 14 and rock out. Happy birthday to me.” Several fans wrote their birthday wishes in the comments section. While some still preferred to call her “Munni,” others opted to drop heart and flower emojis.

As Harshali Malhotra turned into a teenager last year, she shared a video from her birthday party. She looked lovely in a pink dress as she blew out the candles and cut the cake. She wrote: “It’s my birthday… yippppeeee. Now officially teenagers.”

In 2021, we heard rumors of a sequel to Bajrangi Bhaijaan. In an interview with PTI, Salman Khan confirmed this Bajrangi Bhaijaan 2 is on the cards. Director Kabir Khan had commented that the film’s idea and script were not yet complete.

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a 2015 drama film directed by Kabir Khan. The film starred Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. However, the cutest on-screen presence was Harshali Malhotra. She played the role of Shahida aka Munni, a Pakistani girl who gets lost in India. The film is about how an Indian named Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi (played by Salman Khan) helps Munni return to Pakistan. Harshali’s performance earned her critical acclaim and several nominations.
