6 shows at Bass Hall as part of the BNSF Popular Entertainment Series

In addition to Broadway productions and symphony performances, other shows take place in the Bass Performance Hall. Performing Arts Fort Worth, the nonprofit that operates the venue, has just announced six events to be held at both Bass Hall and the adjacent McDavid Studio as part of the BNSF Popular Entertainment Series.

The following is pending.

Sounds of Resilience, Aug 22, Bass Hall

Sounds of Resilience is a program that funded 41 local musicians amid the pandemic. The six – Brian Kieta, Taylor Pace, Summer Dean, Juan Ospina, Ginny Mac, and Jeremiah Miller – will perform the original songs they submitted for the program and perform together as well.

Sounds of Resilience was led by the Fine Line Group, the Family Offices of Sasha and Edward P. Bass, in association with Gallery of Dreams and with support from the Alice L. Walton Foundation and the Tartaglino Richards Family Foundation.

Bruce Robison & Kelly Willis’ Holiday Shindig, December 1st at McDavid Studio

The start of the holidays will be the country stars (and the couple) Bruce Robison and Kelly Willis, who will play songs from their current duet album. Nice lie, along with solo hits and vacation classics.

The Gatlin Brothers and Crystal Gayle – Holiday & Hits, December 13th, Bass Hall

Two other country music legends – The Gatlin Brothers and Crystal Gale – will appear together for the first time at Bass Hall as part of a new Christmas production. The audience can expect a set list with single hits and holiday favorites.

Robert Earl Keen, December 30th, Bass Hall

No stranger to Fort Worth, Robert Earl Keen will return to Bass Hall for his one-of-a-kind New Year’s Eve concert, playing a range of bluegrass-soaked holiday and non-holiday songs.

Daniel Tigers Neighborhood Live !, April 5, 2022, Bass Hall

For the kids – Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood Live: Neighbor Day brings the popular PBS Kids show to life on stage. Inspired by characters from the original Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, the show follows the title character and his family and friends as they dance, sing songs and tell stories of friendship in the Make-Believe neighborhood.

The British Invasion – Live on Stage, May 4, 2022, Bass Hall

Produced by the same people behind The Simon and Garfunkel Story, The British Invasion will highlight hits from legendary British musicians of the 1960s, including The Rolling Stones, Dave Clark 5, The Animals, The Kinks and Dusty Springfield .

Tickets for all shows go on sale on Friday. More information can be found here.
